Our history developed our product
The founder of our company has accumulated more than 35 years of experience in the industrial marine market, this long experience began with Malcolm Harrison, sailing a small 45ft sloop twice across the Atlantic in 1987, since then he developed his career in marine engineering in commercial shipping, oil and gas platforms, involved in high seas salvage and rescue, diving services, Antarctic expeditions and military establishments both in Europe and Africa. Through all this experience Malcolm identified an opening market opportunity to build a component based modular floating structure, to offer a better solution that the short-life structures, unsafe surfaces, and very high manufacturing cost, the existing floating structures for industrial use could not be implemented for long walkways due to massive freight requirement, corrosion and high costs; these and other problems have been solved by Xrosswater being pioneers in the industry, manufacturing safe and easy-to-install floating structures, designed for mine tailings pond and industrial marine use that require high resilience to weather, extreme climate and corrosive water.

Much of the success of the product can be attributed to the ability to incorporate modern technology, design and manufacturing capabilities, use of innovative material offering unrivaled resistance to UV, petroleum & most chemicals.
Combining these, Xrosswater is now able to offer a high quality, robust walkway system that will last longer and be delivered to a mine location at a cost unmatched elsewhere. Being supplied in component form, we are the only company capable of shipping 500 m x 1.5 m (1640 ft x 5 ft) in 1×40 ft container to worldwide destinations from our assembly plants in the USA and Austria.
Fields of application of our industrial walkways
During more than two decades Xrosswater has completed tailings dams for gold, diamonds, titanium, platinum, iron, oil and uranium among many others, the experience accumulated through these projects has allowed us to continue growing and improving our products.
