Anchoring Systems
Anchoring Systems - Down. Right. Solid.
Xrosswater Ltd Can also offer a truly tried and tested anchoring system that can be utilised in existing, new, wet or dry locations.
The following refers:
• The depth of an anchors placement related to the soil classification.
• The angle of the load
• The installation of the anchors and the related cost.
• The appropriate chain or cable strength.
• The management or appropriate time to adjust with by trained people.
• The force or load that the anchors should be expected to uphold to.
The anchor system that we support the use of is the helical anchor. These are available in wide range of configurations and are interchangeable relating to strength, length, number of helical bearing plates, helical diameters, and optional installation techniques.

Class 1 soils are difficult to probe consistently and the ASTM blow count may be of questionable value.
* Probe values are based on using Chance Soil Test Probe, catalog number C309-0032
** It is advisable to install anchors deep enough, by the use of
extensions, to penetrate a Class 5 or 6, underlying the Class 7 or 8
Solids. |
